My ancestor was James McBride, 1725 in Scotland, m. 1759 at Clynch River, Augusta, Va. to Miss Crawford. their son William, 1758 m. a Miss Lee about 1785. He was Pvt. in RW and all his six brothers and father were killed in RW according to a letter from a great, great uncle. William died in Whitehall, Greene Co. Ill.perhaps. His son James, b.2787 in Campbell Co. tn m a Nancy Taylor, maybe dau. of James Taylor and Flora McDonald. Do you have any of these people listed anywhere?
