The Chillicothe Gazette of September 11, 1902 reads:

DEATH OF MR. KNOX Mr. William Knox of Riverside Street dies this morning at 9:30 o'clock oftyphoid fever. The deceased was 54 years old and leaves four children,Mrs. Charles Price of Wellston, Mrs. Joseph Dixon, Miss Lenora and Thomasof this city to mourn his demise.

The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the house andReverand Zinn will officiate. The internment will be at Greenlawn.
