The following commentary confirms that the following 1880 census record is the right record for William and Rhoda with daughter Almeda:
Patricia Ash writes in 30 Jul 2007 at http://genforum.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/print.cgi?reniff::39.html:
"I am the County Coordinator for Loup County, Nebraska under the NEGenWeb and have a book titled, Kent 1874-1978, which has two Reniff histories.1) Philo and Mary Reniff - - Bible records in that article record that Philo was the son of Mowry Reniff, and Mary (Ball) Reniff, childen, Mary, Eunice, and Abisha.2) Horance and ALMEDA ETTA Reniff - - he was the son of Philo and Mary (Wickson/Wixson) Reniff." (caps Janie's)

1880 Census Leroy, Audubon Co., Iowa
Jackson, William W M 46 married Farmer Ohio MD MD (1834)
Jackson, Roda A. W F 46 wife married keeping house Ohio blank blank
Jackson, William W M 17 son single at home Ohio Ohio Ohio
Jackson, Ettie M W F 11 dau single at home Ohio Ohio Ohio

William K. Jackson and Lottie Ann Shepard are listed as parents on the marriage record for their son William Jackson in 1885 when he married Mattie Copper. Lottie is very likely a mis-transcription as the marriage record of their daughter Almeda to Horace Reniff gives her parents as William Jackson and Rhoda A. Shepard.
