"WilliamA Hurst was born, say, in the mid 1530s and died a resident of the parish of Henlow, Bedfordshire, between 3 June 1570 (will) and 30 June 1571 (probate). His father was probably HenryB Hurst, a landed yeoman who first appears in the manorial records of Henlow Grey in 1535. William's mother was perhaps Agnes, who (as Agnes Hurst) was buried at Henlow on 17 October 1569."
