Goodson, William, born 12/1759 in Frederick County, Maryland; moved at age 2 with parents to Virginia; entered service 1776 in Botetourt County, Virginia; granted Pension 1838 in Cumberland County, Kentucky; query letter in file in 1919 from Mrs. Guy K. Llywellyn, Tacoma, Washington, descendant of Elizabeth, daughter of George whose father was either Thomas or William Goodson, Revolutionary War soldier's of Floyd County, Virginia; query letter in 1914 from descendant Mrs. Nannie D. Morehead, Carrollton, Missouri, states soldier moved to Kentucky, thence to Carroll County, Missouri & died 3/15/1844. F-S30440, R1092.
