Note - I have a copy of William's will. It mentions Mary E, Ollie, Jane, Luther and Leiler. He names "Jackson Stephens" to be the guardian of those children. Andrew Jackson Stephens is Mary Elizabeth Stephen's father. Also mentioned: "my 6 oldest sons from my first wife" and Reuben George, Rufus George, RH George, Samuel George, Ben George (given something in the will) and Cornelius Stephens and W.D. Stephens who owe him money.

I William George of the County of Russell and state of Kentucky being of feeble health but fully ****ing my obligations to my wife and children and d***ing what I ______ to be just and right between them do make and publish this my last will and testament never having made any former will. First I will to my wife Mary E. George the $375.oo note which Cornelius Stephens owes me the _____ ________ by a _______ on the land. I also will to her the $275.00 _______ note which I hold on W.D. Stephens. Also all the other notes and the money that I have on hand. It is my will that out of the money and notes willed to her that the Day my burial exp***s **** Bills and Debts that I owe I also will to her my a**est mare mule and buggy my t** cows the heifer all my sheep all the hogs I own except the red sow and ***s. I will my wife my wife all my household and kitchen furniture sewing machine one half of my bees all the meat and land ½ of the ______ ¼ of the spring crop. 2nd and I will to Ollie B George Lucy J George Luther George and Lelar George children of my present wife the farm the farm ___________________________________ and request that Jackson Stephens qualify as their guardian and _________________________________ to sell said farm at any ________ and the money _____________ therefore to be held by said guardian for the use and benefit of said four children. 3rd I will to S***** George my youngest mare mule and saddle also my red sow and pigs. I will to my six oldest boys the children of my first wife one half of my bees and half of the *** *** in hand to be equally divided between them. I will to Ben George the large yoke of oxen and wagon. I will to Reuben George the black mare colt. I will to Rufus George the horse colt. I will to RH George my part of the land owned by me in Casey County he to sell the corn I have and to pay the taxes and keep the rest.
