William S. Feree, an aged and well-known citizen of Bart township, died yesterday morning at his home in Georgetown. Mr. Ferree was eighty-six years of age and was known and highly respected throughout the easter and southern sections of the county. He leaves a wife, but no children. In early life he was a carpenter by trade, and later in life kept store at Nickel Mines. from there he moved to Georgetown, and for many years he was a leading merchant of that place, but retired a few years ago. He served for some time as Justice of the Peace in Bart township. He was a Republican in politics and was a member of the Octoraro Presbyterian Church.
