    - farm purchased of Jesse Huddleston for son, James, for which deed was given;
    - dau., Ruth Anne Smith and husband, James D. Smith, land beginning at Indian Creek Bridge to Ruddle's old dam;
    - to dau., Mary Wilson and son-in-law, Barton S. Wilson, have conveyed brick and log homes in Cynthiana;
    - son, Wm., property in Cynthiana;
    - to other chdn., (not named) land in Ky. and Ill., near 7000 a.;
    - wife, a farm either in Ky. or Ill.

    Brown, William (1779-1833) — of Kentucky. Born in Frederick County, Va., April 19, 1779. Colonel in the U.S. Army during the War of 1812; member of Kentucky state house of representatives; U.S. Representative from Kentucky 3rd District, 1819-21. Died in Jacksonville, Morgan County, Ill., October 6, 1833 (age 54 years, 170 days).
