Obituary from Buracker & Boraker Family Newsletters, #43, Dec 2008" about the 1850 census: Crawfordsville Star, June 3, 1886 William Boraker died in this city on last Saturday, May 29, at 11 o'clock p.m., of congestion of the brain. He was one of our oldest citizens and was always as industrious and honest man. He was born in Champaign county, Ohio, in 1817 and moved to Montgomery county, Ind., in 1833, where he had resided continuously up to his death. His age was therefore 68 years. His wife died in September, 1875. Mr. Boraker leaves three sons and two daughters to mourn his loss. The funeral services were conducted at the residence of his son, Thomas Boraker, on North Washington street, on Monday, by Eld. M. M. Vancleave. The remains were interred in Oak Hill cemetery.
