From 1957 letter from Nelson Hall: "You remember Dr. Hall Bethune that had an office in Parkersburg in 1925 and left there and went to Chicago, Illinois and finally settled in Grand Rapids. He has a son who is an Osteopath M.D. and lives in Saginau, Mich. He is married and has two children. He is planning on buying an air plane to travel about in. That's all I know of his plans, but I would think he is flirting with death."
