William's will (1688) lists 7 daughters, the first of whom is Mary. It is not clear whether this was a daughter with his first wife, or his wife Sarah's daughter by Hugh Burt. Sarah and Hugh's other daughter (Sarah) had died in 1682 [Savage].'
