Crawford Journal, Meadville, PA Thursday, 19 Oct. 1871, p. 3, col. 2 Wm. Baily was struck and run over by a locomotive of the A & GWR (Atlantic & Great Western Railroad) near Suttons Corners on Saturday evening, and instantly killed. He was an employee of the road and was walking upon the track at the time of the accident. No blame is attached to the railroad company. William Baily, who died 14 Oct. 1871, and was buried in Anderson Cemetery, Greenwood Twp.
