Warren Ashley settled in his native place after his marriage and lived there until 1857, when he moved to Hartford, NY returning in four years to Ft. Ann. In March, 1866, he removed to Naperville, IL, and four years later to Grey Willow, IL. About 1881 he went to Beaver, Iowa, and in 1894 came to DeKalb, IL, his residence in 1896. He was engaged in farming up to a few years ago, but now is in no active business.
