She was born Oct. 3, 1922, in Spur. She graduated from Lubbock High School and Draughon's Business College. She married David S. Enger in 1941, and he died Nov. 12, 1989. She helped organize the South Plains Alzheimer Support Group, and she spoke for several Christian and Alzheimer groups. She was a member of the LCU Associaties, and she was a charter member of the Church of Christ. She was the office manager of McIlhaney Dairy and Milk Co., and she was a former officer of the city council. Survivors include two daughters, Dixie Williams of Lubbock and Diane Enger of Fort Worth; a son, Keith Enger of Colleyville; a sister, Kathryn Tate of Lubbock; a brother, Delwin Jones of Lubbock; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
