He moved to Claiborne County, LA in the 1830s, and shows up in Claiborne Co, LA probate court in several cases 1851-1855.

Profile of Judge John Watkins contains line “The Judge was married in Louisiana in 1852, to Miss M. F. Morrow, a native of Georgia, educated in La Grange of that State, and the daughter of J. T. Morrow.” [Biographical and Historical Memoirs of Northwest Louisiana, 1890]
