    Unless he were son of an unknown prior wife born 1643 or earlier, this Thomas would be unlikely to have been granted land in 1664. If he were an Exeter abuttor in 1697, it would have been as an absentee owner as his first known wife died at Boston in 1693, he remarried there in 1694 and had children born there in 1697 and 1699.
