Twin of William. Joined South Church 25 January 1729/30 and was removed by death on 02 March 1776.

His house stood near the center of the town of Andover and is the oldest site of any of the Wardwell homesteads surely known, though it is well understood that the house of his father, William, was located on the hillside, toward the east. All four of his sons served in the Revolutionary War.
