His son or grandson is Major Thomas Tulloch of Ellieston of the 42nd Royal Highlanders Regiment of Foot (the "Black Watch"). He enlisted on 25 June 1826, made Lieutenant 23 October 1828 and then Captain on 12 July 1833 and Major 20 May 1853. [1][2][3]
