    MIGRATION: 1635 on the Truelove (on 19 September 1635, "Tho[mas] Tibbald's," aged 20, was enrolled at London as a passenger for New England on the Truelove [Hotten 131]).
    CHURCH MEMBERSHIP: In late 1643, "Mary the wife of Thomas Tibballs" was admitted to Milford church [MilfordChR 2]. On 24 October 1645 [or possibly 1646], "Thomas Tibballs" was admitted to Milford church [MilfordChR 3].
    FREEMAN: In Milford section of 1669 list of Connecticut freemen [CCCR 2:524].
    OFFICEHOLDING: Served in Pequot War, 1637 [CCCR 2:147]. On 23 June 1654, "Sergeant Tibballs of Milford" was chosen a sergeant in the expected expedition against the Dutch [NHCR 2:108].
    BIRTH: Baptized Great Hampden, Buckinghamshire, 27 June 1613, son of Thomas Tibballs [TAG 84:311] (aged 20 on 19 September 1635 [Hotten 131]).
    DEATH: Milford 8 April 1703 (as "Sergeant Thomas Tibballs Senior" [TAG 9:171]).

    "2 Thomas2 Tibballs (ThomasA) was baptized in Great Hampden, Buckinghamshire, on 27 June 1613 but he was born apparently in Ellesborough, where the family was residing at that time. … He perhaps settled first in Dorchester or Weymouth, where the Whitman and Stream families settles. All three families, however, eventually found their way to Milford, Connecticut, then part of the New Haven Colony."
