"Born probably at Eastham, died there 5 Sep 1753. He married at Eastham 23 Jul 1702 Mercy Knowles, born at Eastham 13 Sep 1681, daughter of Samuel and Mercy (Freeman) Knowles of Eastham. Will identifies children.
↑ Marriage in 1702 suggests birth by 1681. Mentioned After Sarah and before Samuel in settlement of father's estate, so appears to be 4th child. Oldest child was administrator of father's estate in 1692, so oldest child born by 1671, so assumption of birth for the fourth child would be about 1677-1680. Samuel's estimated birth is about 1685.
