"8 Thomas Olcott, of Hartford, son of Thomas Olcott, of said town, was married to Sarah Foote, daughter of Nathaniel Foote, of Wethersfield (Conn.), by Capt. John Chester, commissioner, November, 1691. Mr.Thomas Olcott died—(date of his decease unknown.) Mrs. Sarah Olcott, his widow, died July 24, 1756, in the 86th year of her age."
