Overview

Thomas McSpadden settled on Borden's Grant by 1744 when his deed to 366 acres on Sheep Creek was registered. At the time his immediate neighbors included Archibald Alexander, Mathew Lyle, William Caruthers, and Alexander McLeary. His property was approximately 1 mile to the south of Timber Ridge Meeting House.
