He lived in Winsham and Crewkerne, Somerset, England. He was taxed in 1627, at Crewkerne, in the subsidy of King Charles I. He married, 11 January 1572/3 {Parish Records}, at Crewkerne, Joane Peson, daughter of Richard Peson and Margery -- Joane was buried 30 October 1629 {Parish Records} at Crewkerne. His will was dated, 17 December 1636 and proved, 10 February 1636/7. He was buried, 29 December 1636 {Parish Records}, at Crewkerne.
