    Thomas Gilbert died in Wethersfield before 5 Sept. 1659, when the inventory of his estate was taken. His wife, whose name does not appear in colonial records, apparently died at nearly the same time, since the estate inventory includes funeral charges for both Thomas Gilbert and his wife.
