In re: Thomas. As usual, there is room for massive confusion about the Thomases: three of them (also as usual).

[ Person:Thomas Edmiston (2): ] One was the son of Col. William, and he m. Margaret Buchanan, d/o Robert & Jane Beattie. He lived out his life in WCV.

[ Person:Thomas Edmondson (2): ]The second was Thomas, s/o of William Sr., who m. Martha Buchanan, d/o a different Robert & Mary. He was one of the first settlers of Nashville, coming there in 1780 with Donelson. He lived out his life in Davidson Co. TN.

[ Person:Thomas Edmondson (9): ]The third is Thomas, s/o Capt. William Edmiston. He's younger, moved to Nashville with his mother, married Agatha Perkins (money, money, money!) and lived out his life in Nashville.
