Whether or not the same Thomas Delano married both Mary and Rebecca is not firmly determined. Evidently, in the records, Mary's name is written as both Ramsdell and Alden. Signers of the Mayflower Compact, page 25 (Pilgrim Genealogies and Histories, 1600s-1900s), skirts the problem with a unique solution: "Rebecca, Mary, wife of Thomas Delano..."

An Inventory was taken of the estate of the "George Soule of Duxburrow in His Ma'ties Collonies of New Plymouth of New England this twenty-second of Jan. 1679 by Edward Southworth and Thomas Delano".

mentioned his granddaughter Deborah Weston in his will.
