Source:Holman, Winifred Lovering. Remick Genealogy : Compiled from the Manuscript of Lieutenant Oliver Philbrick Remick for the Maine Historical Society, publ. 1933, says "Stackpole in his History of Kittery states that Martha married Thomas Cole (p. 677), but this is not correct. It is very probable that she married Daniel, brother of Thomas, who died without issue." It shows Lydia Remick marrying about 1694 Thomas Cole, born probably in Eastham about 1665 and died there (i.e., Eastham) about 1725. "Thomas Cole apparently always lived in Eastham..."
William Brewster of the Mayflower, and the Fifth Generation Descendants of His Daughter Patience, p. 124, says the will of Daniel Cole names heirs of [deceased] brother Thomas Cole (see here). Further investigation of probate documents would probably name those heirs, and one would presume, confirm that the parents of Thomas are Daniel and Ruth, as indicated by Holman.
