- Cason, Thomas - entered service 1780 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia; born 1762 in Caroline County, Virginia, where resided till 1763 when family moved to Spotsylvania County, where soldier resided when received Pension 1832 in Caroline County; brother of Edward; died 5/8/1836; married 12/24 1784 to Nancy, who received Pension abt. age 75 in Harrison County, Kentucky, 1839, when son John (born 10/15/1785) made affidavit there; widow resided there 1848 abt. age 84. R495.
