Thomas2 Andrews, born at Hartford 4 May 1638, died at Middletown, Conn., early in 1690/l; married Hannah Kirby, born at Wethersfield Conn., 2 Mar. 1649. Died at Guilford, Conn., in Oct. 1717, daughter of John and Elizabeth Kirby. She was reported on 27 Apr. 1677, when the inventory of her father's estate was taken, to be aged 27 and wife of Thomas Andrews [Manwaring's Digest, 1:211-12]. Winthrop noted him as Mr. Andrews' son and aged 20 in 1657. He settled in Middletown and died prior to 3 Mar. 1690/1, when the inventory of his estate was taken. The children were named as Thomas, John, Samuel, Hannah, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Abigail. On 6 Dec. 1693 it was reported that the widow had married and moved "from the Jurisdiction of this Court." [Manwaring's Digest, 1:400.] She married second, Alexander Rollo of East Haddam, and third, William Stone of Guilford, and she died at Guilford in Oct. 1717. Her sister, Bethiah Kirby, married John2 Andrews, son of Francis1 of Hartford and Fairfield, another reason for thinking that William1 and Francis1 were related.
