OBITUARY (The Auburn Citizen Wednesday November 30, 1983) THEODORE R. SHAMBO Theodore R. Shambo, 82 died November 28, 1983 at Burdette-Tomlin Memorial Hospital in Cape May Courthouse, New Jersey. Mr. Shambo was a resident of North Wildwood, New Jersey. He had been a resident of North Wildwood for 18 years. He was born in Auburn, New York. He was a 50 year member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks in Auburn. Mr. Shambo was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Auburn. He was employed by the Lehigh Valley Railroad for 48 years before retiring in 1964. He was a World War II Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth V. Shambo of N. Wildwood, NJ; five sisters Agnes Flynn, Beulah Denehy, Mae Shambo all of Auburn; Leona Shambo of Rochester, NY and Sr. Agnes Paula of Waterloo, NY. A mass of christian burial will be held Friday at 11:00am at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Wildwood. Burial will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 Thursday evening at the Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home 1201 Central Ave. North Wildwood, New Jersey. |
