Death Notice dated 6/26/1918 Lawrence, Thaddeus W. at Edinburg on 6/25. Prayer service at the home Thursday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Fred L. Decker of Gloversville will officiate. Interment at Green Hill.

Death Notice dated 6/27/1918 Thaddeus W. Lawrence formerly of Amsterdam died Tuesday evening at his home in Edinburg age 70 years. He had been suffering from a complication of deseases. He was born in the Town of Day, Saratoga County. During the 26 years he lived in Amsterdam he worked as a carpenter and also as a cutter in the knitting mill of Warner DeForest & Co. He was a member of the East Main M.E. Church. Me. Lawrence married Miss Alice Wood 49 years ago. She survives along with 3 sons, Walter of Yonkers, George and William of Amsterdam, 2 daughters, Mrs. Fred Sleezer and Mrs. Frank Pelotte, Amsterdam. Also 4 brothers, Roswell of Piseco Lake, William of West Day, John P. of Johnstown and Harmon of Dolgeville and 2 sisters Mrs. Adelbert Carpenter of Wells and Miss Hattie Lawrence of West Day and 17 grandchildren.
