    She was probably a second wife for "Goodwife Singletary" died about 1638 or 9 at Newbury and was probably his first wife. … Susanna Cook was a sister of Philip Cook who died in Cambridge Massachusetts. In his will, dated 18 July 1666, he left is son John, aged 3, to the care of his "sister Singletary" in Haverhill. Susanna and Philip may have been related to Colonel George Cook and his brother Joseph who were in Cambridge in 1635-36.. Susanna Singletary was related to Philip Eastman who was named "kinsman" in the will of her brother Philip Cook.
