Susan Bennett: Biographical Information

Susan Bennett was the daughter of Adam Bennett, Sr. and Hannah. Susan's father Adam, Sr. was formerly enslaved on Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina.

Susan was born April 13, 1886. Descendant family oral history states that she married, 1st, Lingard Davis, and they had one son named Jerry. She married, 2nd, Benjamin Haddock.

Susan and her second husband Benjamin Haddock were enumerated in the 1930 Federal Census. Their household was:
