Facts and Events
Stanley David Smith was born in 1886 in Luton, son of Sarah Smith formerly Benning and her husband James Smith.
Stanley appears with his parents and siblings in the 1891, 1901 and 1911 censuses, working variously as a labourer in an iron foundry and a plait dyer in Luton's straw hat industry. He has yet to be traced after the 1911 census.
