Simon LEBLANC, born about 1746 in the parish of St. Joseph in Acadie, son of Pierre & Francoise TERRIOT. Simon disembarked with the family of his brother Jean LeBLANC at St. Malo from England on 23 May 1763 from the ship "La Dorothee." He lived at Plouer from 1763-1766. He was a seaman, married 18 Nov 1766 at St. Servan, Ille-et-Vilaine, France to Anne- Rosalie FOREST (born about 1748), daughter of Jacques & Claire VINCENT (see family #394); two children listed. He lived at St. Servan from 1767-1772. On 12 Aug 1785 Anne FOREST, the widow of Simon LeBLANC, left France on the ship "La Ville D'Archangel," which arrived in LA on 3 Dec 1785.
