Simeon Zelotus Bailey was orginally buried in the Bailey Cemetery, Athens Twp. Crawford Co. PA. According to sources found in the Crawford Co. Historical Society, Meadville, PA. The Bailey Cemetery, was a target of vandalism and Grave Robbing during the 1950's. Because of this, Simeon's body was removed to nearby Drake Cemetery, located on Dewey Rd. not far from the small village of Little Cooley, Athens Twp. Crawford Co. PA. It is believed that his first wife and perhaps, parents were also located in the Bailey Cemetery. Very few stones have been found standing in this cemetery (1997) and weeds and grass have taken over. There are several impressions in the ground where it is obvious that it is a gravesite.
