In the Name of God amen I Silence Reed of Abington in the County of Plymouth and Commonwealth of Massachusetts widow being in the free Exercise of reason & Memory calling to Mind the Mortality of my Body & knowing that it is appointed unto man once to die, do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament (viz) principally & first of all, I give & recommend my Soul into the hands of God, who gave it, hoping for a full & free pardon of all my Sins through the merits of Jesus Christ my only Redeemer & Saviour & my Body to the Earth to be buried with Christian Decency, nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection I shall receive the [same?] by the Almighty Power of God - and touching my earthly State whereof it has pleased God to bless me in this Life I give & bequeath the same in the following manner viz,

Imprimis I give & bequeath unto my Brother Obadiah Reed & my sister Sarah Reed equally the whole of my Estate both real & personal, wherever it may be found & in whatever it may consist after paying my just debts & funeral charges and paying the Legacies hereafter mentioned -

Item. I give & bequeath unto my Neice Silence Norton one hundred dollars to be paid inone year after my decease

Item. I give & bequeath until my four Neices (viz) Sarah Lovell[?], Mary Gurney, Hannah Shaw[?] and Mehitabel Shaw[???] fifty Dollars each to be paid in one year after my decease.

Item. I give & bequeath unto Mary Hearsey daughter of my Kinsman Obadiah Hearsey thirty dollars to be paid in one year after my decease.

Item. I give and bequath unto Rebecca Hearsey and Olive Hearsey Daughters of said Obadiah Hearsey tne Dollars each to be paid in one year after my decease.

Item. I give & bequeath unto Goddard Reed, Son of James Reed fifty Dollars, to be paid when he shall arrive to the age of twenty one years.

Item. I give and bequath unto Anna Hearsey & Alice Hearsey Daughters of my Kinsman Daniel Hearsey Ten Dollars each to be paid in one year after my decease.

Item. I appoint & ordain my Brother Obadiah Reed sole Executor to this my last Will & Testament.

Lastly. It is my will, that my just debts, funeral charges & the aforementioned Legacies be paid by my Executor - and I hereby direct him faithfully to discharge the same. - For witness whereof I the said Silence Reed have hereunto set my hand & seal this twenty first day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & eight.
