About Seymour Owens

Seymour Owens worked in the food industry for many years, specializing on the meat and poultry side of the business. He represented Thorn Apple Valley, a meat and poultry supplier and called on many of the key chain buyers in the supermarket industry in the Southern California market. Seymour married Belle Lee Fineman in 1941, they lived in a beautiful home in Beverly Hills for many years. Seymour Owens was a gentleman and a friend to many in the supermarket industry, and his character, generosity, professionalism and humor have been missed by many since his passing in 2004.

Cultural Concert

The Los Angeles Chapter of the American-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF) presented a special concert and dinner at the Wyndham Bel Age on Oct. 10 in memory of the chapter's original members, Seymour Owens and Dr. David and Helene Rottapel. AICF is an organization that is privately funded by donors who provide financial support for talented Israelis youngsters and cultural institutions in Israel.
