FISHER, Seth, ch. Abijah and Mary, [born] Feb. 26, 1753.
This may be the same person as Person:Seth Fisher (1). Source:Peckham, Charles W. Peckham Family, p. 126, says "Patience Peckham ... married Seth Fisher on March 21, 1784, born on February 26, 1772/73, in Norton, Bristol County, Massachusetts." The marriage is found in Source:Arnold, James N. Vital Record of Rhode Island, 1636–1850, but the connection to Seth Fisher of Norton is not explained, nor clear. There are other Seth Fishers in Bristol County of similar, even more likely, ages. The births of his children have not been found, so no reassuring name patterns have been found. Further the error with the birth date (clearly a typo based on marriage date, double-dating not needed for either 1773 or 1753) raises doubts about the quality of research employed.
