    Sarah “Sally” Smith (b. 25 Aug 1807 TN, d. 3 Sept 1893, Whitley, KY). Buried in Old Red Bird Cemetery with husband. They lived on Capuchine Mountain on the Tennessee side for several years before locating at Red Bird. That is why most of their children say they were born in Tennessee. They were members of the Red Bird Baptist Church. Sarah was dau of Josiah Smith and Elizabeth “Betsy” Todd
