The last will and Testament of Sarah Faxson (Widdow of Thomas Faxon late of Braintree Deceas'd:) aged Seaventy three yeares, being weak in body, butt: well in understanding & memory, w'ch is as followeth
My Soule I give unto the hands, of my most gracious god & mercifull father : and Jesus christ my deare redeemer, whom I trust hath redeemed itt, from all iniquity, & from eternall misserie My bodie I give to the earth, to be decently buryed, my worldly goods I give as followeth
Item I give & bequeath, to my well beloved Cousin, Ruth Webb the wife of Peter Webb of Braintree my best feather bed with the broadest bolster & the teaking pillow with the rugg & blanckett and the best paire of Sheets, and a paire of Pillow beers one dowlis one homespun, allso a bellmettle Chaffingdish &c : to her & her heirs for ever
Item I give & bequeath to my Daughter In law lidia Savell the wife of Benjamin Savell of Braintree my other feather bead and after her Decease to her Daughter Sarah Savell : &c
The rest of my goods or estate, after funerall Charges are paide to be divided among my nearest relations
And this to be my last will: made the thirteenth day of August one thousand Six hundred inty & foure, of which will & testament I make and Constitute my Son In law Benjamin Savell of Braintree executor:
