    Sarah Ann Lynam, daughter of Richard and Mary Lynam, was born in Bath Co., Kentucky, April 19, 1855 and departed this life October 31, 1936, age 81 years, 6 months and 12 days. At an early age she was converted and joined the Methodist church, remaining a member of that church until 1907 when she changed her membership to the Nazarene church, where she remained a faithful member till Jesus called her home.
    On January 14, 1874 she was united in marriage to F. T. Collins. Seven daughters were born to this union. Her husband and four daughters preceded her in death.
    In 1878 she with her family moved to Kansas, and on February 22, 1900 she was united in married to J. W. Gault of Howard, Kansas, where she has since made her home. Those left to mourn her departure are her aged husband, J. W. Gault, three daughters, Mrs. H. M. Henderson, Mrs. Albert Andrews, and Mrs. H. L. Stephens of Howard, Kansas; 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
    Funeral services were held at the Moon Funeral Home, Monday afternoon, November 2nd at 2:30. Burial was made in Grace Lawn Cemetery at Howard, Kansas.
