By 1900, 2 children had been born and were alive. Obituaries MRS. SADIE ROMINE Mrs. Sadie Romine died Thursday, April 27, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Will Anderson, one mile north of Elwell. She was born in Ohio, October 23, 1876, and was at the time of her death 67 years of age. She came to Michigan with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Corl, when she was six years of age. Surviving are four children, Mrs. Will Anderson of Elwell, Corl Romine of Alma, Mrs. Leona Schofield of Riverdale, and Mrs. Agatha Ek of Lansing; two sisters, Mrs. Lilly Miller and Mrs. Ella Medler of Elwell one brother, Darley Corl of Elwell, eight grand-children and seven great-grandchildren. The husband, Sheridan Romine and an infant son, Dewey preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at the Wright funeral home in Alma Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. W. E. SADIE ROMINE BURIED ON SUNDAY -- Mrs. Sadie Romine, daughter of Henry and Sarah Corl, died Thursday, April 27, 1944, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Anderson, one mile north of Elwell. She was born in Ohio on October 23, 1876, and was 67 years of age. She came with her parents to Michigan at the age of six years. She leaves to mourn her departure: 4 children, Mrs. Will Anderson of Elwell, Corl Romine of Alma, Mrs. Leona Schofield of Riverdale, Mrs. Agatha Ek of Lansing; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother, her husband and an infant son Dewey preceded her in death.
