From Mayflower Families In Plymouth

b. Plymouth before 1680, d. there 24 Jul 1714 m. 2 Sept 1695 Elisha Holmes, son of Nathaniel & Mercy Faunce Holmes. Shows also the name and birth dates of their nine children

From Linda M. Fitzmeyer, Richard and "Other Bartletts" Databank

Yes, Sarah Bartlett did marry Elisha Holmes bef. 1722 in Plymouth. She however, was the daughter of Joseph Bartlett/Hannah Pope of Plymouth, not the grandaughter.

One has to use caution with this genealogy. Every generation of every Bartlett family in Plymouth used the names Joseph and Sarah - sorting out which is correct is very difficult. I am not sure I have it right even now. A source I consulted said Sarah was the "granddaughter of Joseph Bartlett". The biggest problem is that the father Elisha married a Sarah Bartlett and the son Elisha also married a Sarah Bartlett.

From the Bartlett Society
