Samuel Ballard's regt., which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775 to Roxbury; service, 12 days. Further: Walker, Samuel, is on a list of men mustered to serve in the Continental Army for the term of 9 months; said Walker appears among men belonging to Capt., Maynard's co. Col. Denny's regt. engaged for Town of Paxton; mustered May 9, (year not given, probably 1778); also descriptive list of men raised by town of Paxton to serve in the Continental Army for the term of 9 months from the time of their arrival at Fishkill, agreeable to resolve of April 20, 1778, as returned by Capt. Adam Maynard, dated Paxton, May 26, 1778. Capt. Maynard's co, Col.
