• Page 343.--19th June, 1764. John Ramsey's bond (with Jno. Gay, Jas. McCoy) as guardian to Mary, John, Francis, Hugh, Rebecca, William, Elizabeth and Samuel McDonell, orphans of John McDonell.

• Vol. 1 - June 19, 1764 - John Ramsey chosen guardian by Mary McDonald, 16, John McDonald 14, and court appoints him guardian for Francis, Hugh, Rebecca, William, Elizabeth and Samuel McDonald, all orphans of John McDonald.

to sons Thomas and Andrew S. lands on the Cowpasture and 110 acres on Mayse's Mountain; if they disagree on the division, thery are "not to go to law" but allow settlement to be made by disinterested neighbors

upon his wife's deceasse, sons Thomas and Andrew are to pay son $300 and upon his decease to hige Hugh one year of schooling or the value thereof "to prepare him to receive some mechanical profession"

to daughter Martha, wife or Robert McClung, Negro woman Aggy now in her possession and her increase

to daughter Rebeckah, Negro woman Alse, bed and furniture and a sorrel mare

to daughter Eleanor, Negro Mariah, bed and furniture and a horse
