Will of Samuel Latimer
- Will of Samuel Latimer, Written 27 June 1814 – Proven October 1828
- In the name of God Amen. I Samuel Latimer of the County of Mercer & State of Kentucky being sound in mind & memory but far advance in life and knowing not how soon my dissolution may take place do declare this to be my Last Will and Testament revolking all others.
- In the first place all my just debts is to be speedily and punctually paid and the remainder of my estate both real and personal is to remain in possession of my wife Lydia Latimer during her life and she is at liberty to make use of said estate in any way she may think proper for her support and after her death an equal division must take place among all my children and the Heirs of my children that may be dead at the time of the division shall come in for their further part of my estate that he would be intitled to if he was living, my grandson Samuel Dougherty is to have fifty dollars when he comes of age or at the time the Division takes place.

- 24 Aug 1821 - Samuel Daugherty indebted to the estate of Samuel Latimore, dec’d, $227.33 due 16 June 1818 by note given to him by said Latimore bearing date 13 Jun 1818. Samuel mortgages to Lydia Latimore, widow, all of his estate.
