KING IS FOUND DEAD IN BED / Aged Resident Lived on Swanson Farm and Came from Amboy Ten Years Ago Camden, Oct 16 (Special)-- Samuel G. King, who for the past ten or more years has lived on the farm formerly owned by John Swanson west of the village, was found dead in his bed early yesterday morning. The coroner was sent for, and pronounced his death due to natural causes. Mr. King was born in Saratoga and passed his 75th birthday only six days ago. He is survived by two daughters and three sons: Mrs. Cora Looker of Mexico, Mrs. Emma Boshart of Fulton, Stephen King of Stratford, James of Altmar, and George of Ricard, all children of his first wife. He is also survived by his second wife, Mrs. Helen King, and a sister, Mrs. Harriet Hamlin of Sandy Creek. The funeral will be held at the home at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning, and Rev. James A. Tholens of the Free Methodist Church will officiate, after which the remains will be taken to Pekin, Oswego County, for burial. Pulaski Democrat, 25 Oct 1911: ALTMAR-- The funeral services of Samuel King, who died in Camden Oct. 14, were held from the Methodist Church Tuesday noon, Rev. E.C. Love officiating. Burial was in the Molino Cemetery. The deceased left a wife who lives in Camden; four sons, Frank King of Orwell, Thomas King of Williamstown, Stephen King of Pennsylvania, and James King of Altmar; three daughters, Mrs. Otis Crossett of Orwell, Mrs. Boshart of Fulton, and Mrs. Looker of Orwell. Oswego Daily Times, 19 Oct 1911: PINE MEADOWS Oct. 19-- The remains of Samuel King, a former resident of this place, were brought from Camden and interred in the cemetery at Pekin Tuesday. References
