  2. ↑ Source:Gaskill genealogy, p. 4, says Samuel d. after "10 6 1720", but gave no explanation of the significance of this date. [Neither is it clear if this represents Oct. or Dec.] On p. 5, it says the will of his son Samuel provides for the care of his widow, so this Samuel died before "8 1 1725" [one would assume this means 1 Oct 1725, but text says 1 Sep 1725?]. Source:The history of Salem, Massachusetts (227929), 1:391, says he died about 1723.
