His will, dated 19 July 1676, mentions wife, Faith; dau. Elizabeth Gage; brothers Daniel Gage, Nathaniel Gage and Josiah Gage; Town of Bradford, 40 shillings, 'to promote the interest of Christ' (Essex Deeds, 4 Ips.:57). No male issue survived him."

He was admitted freeman at Haverhill, May 31, 1671; and died July 20, 1676, leaving a will, dated July 19,1676, in which he mentions his wife Faith, daughter Elizabeth, and brothers Daniel, Nathaniel, and Josiah."
